Hi

I know that postgresSQL timescaledb extension is based on Apache 2.0 license and it dont have many important features like aggregation, retention etc.

I read a couple of places that I can use "Timescale Managed Services with Community Edition License in Azure Postgres". I would like to know the possibilities. How and what?

Hosting Timescaledb in Azure VM is not something I am looking here.

    Hi Rakesh Kumar,

I believe currently, there is no other way to use the community edition of the TimescaleDB extension on Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server since it only supports the Apache version.

The only viable option would be to build our own VM to utilize the community license, which I understand may not be what you are looking for.

    Thank you!
