Can't join domain

Question

Hi family,

I have setup my MDT + WDS environment. Everything works ok except joining domain. After OS installation completed, I can login the client, but it shows as workgroup. The Custom Settings rules are as below:

DomainAdmin=<customized domain admin>

DomainAdminDomain=<my domain name>

DomainAdminPassword=<the password for the Domain Admin account>

JoinDomain=<my domain name>

MachineObjectOU=<OU path>

What else I can do to make it work? Thanks in advance.

1,Firstly, please check the NetSetup.log on the client to see if there is any error about joining domain.

2,The reference from official article to join domain is below. Please remember to update Deployment Share after the change.

JoinDomain=contoso.com

DomainAdmin=CONTOSO\MDT_JD

DomainAdminPassword=pass@word1

MachineObjectOU=OU=Workstations,OU=Computers,OU=Contoso,DC=contoso,DC=com
