Hello good

What would be the best and correct way to configure alerts in a SQL database in Azure?

I would need to configure alerts to notify me of high consumption and other types of possible errors.

The best thing would be to configure them within the same Azure

Thanks!

    Hi Fernando Gutierrez

Here is a recorded Video on "How to create an Alert for Azure SQL managed instance".

Should be similar configuration for Azure SQL Database as well.

Here is the link - https://youtu.be/vfmDWk3dy6g?si=7BoTiUD0xgvOdgn9

    Thank you!

Here you will find a good tutorial on how to create an alert when high CPU usage is reported on an Azure SQL Database. On the Action Groups section, you can see you can choose as Action Type the email option. Using the portal is the easiest way to do it for one database.
