Hi @admin admin213 ,
by the way there is a section in eac that related to mobile and i didn't do anything with it and it's intact!
should i enter any config to eac for mobile access?
Per my understanding, no, it's not necessary config anything in EAC for mobile access.
As stated in this official link, "By default, Exchange ActiveSync is enabled. All users who have an Exchange mailbox can synchronize their mobile device with the Microsoft Exchange server." So normally the users should be able to synchronize their mailboxes on mobile device by default. You don't need to modify settings in the Mobile section in EAC unless you have specific requirement in your organization to control the EAC device access or mobile device policies. In case you would like to learn more about the two sections related to mobile in EAC, hopefully you can find the articles below helpful:
- Mobile device access: Controlling Exchange ActiveSync device access using the Allow/Block/Quarantine list
- Mobile device mailbox policies: Mobile device mailbox policies
i can easily login to exchange with mapi method but the problem is all the inbox , outbox ... don't update
and get is stucked on downloading and nothing happens .
For current situation, may I know if this is only affecting particular users or particular mobile devices?
Have you tried removing the account and add it again to see if there would be any improvement?
Furthermore, in order to narrow down the issue, it's suggested to take the following troubleshooting steps:
- Test by adding another account like a personal outlook.com account in the Outlook on mobile app and see if the emails can update as expected.
- If there is a built-in mail app on the mobile device, please try adding the account in the built-in mail app and check if it works.
- Run a EAS test using the Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer, see if there would be any errors.
