Deploying Webapp Azure OpenAI results in perpetual loading

After I set up a blob storage with 5 files and connected it with cognitive search I tried multiple times to deploy it as webapp. After deploying it, it just loads in the notification section but never finishes. My Location isch Switzerland North

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A! Thanks for posting the question.

As per my knowledge, the deployment depends on the region in which the webapp is deployed. If the region is running hot, webapp deployment might take a lot of time and, the time should be the same as creating a new webapp using the azure portal.

Can you please provide a screenshot of what you are seeing - "After deploying it, it just loads in the notification section but never finishes"?

@Jaron Lorenzi CSP AG It shouldn't be taking that much longer to deploy. I have tried this in my environment and able to deploy to Switzerland North. I have tried with Basic and S1 tier of app service plan. Which tier you are using for the deployment?

Also, when deploying, can you please try selecting any other region if that works for you?

Hmm, i tried to launch it directly from openai services. Unfortunately that didnt work. Now I tried to first create a new web app with basic tier and than adding the with custom data enriched openai model to this already existing app. Do you think I missed something?

It still does not work. I dont know what to do next. Do you have any suggestions? Could it be, that i have to have a plan upgrade to one click launch a web-app using azure open ai services and byod?
