Greetings,

Since Oct. 10, 2023, on my ASUS laptop PC Microsoft Edge keeps crashing shortly after I either open it or try to go another webpage. This is my first incidence of this behavior.

This problem has been happening with ASUS laptop since the October 10, 2023 update. I didn't have this issue before the update. Also, I've followed ALL the instructions (to no avail) regarding resetting the browser, clearing the cache, upgrading/reinstalling the browser. I cannot delete and reinstall the browser on this computer. For the time being, I've switched to Google Chrome, but I prefer to use MS Edge for web browsing. Can anything be done to help me fix this?

    Hi @SHURRON FARMER

Which version of Edge and OS build do you use? Do you have the same issue on Chrome? You can try the following ways to fix the issue:

    1. Disable all the extensions in Edge.
    2. Repair Edge. Open Control Panel> Uninstall a program> Microsoft Edge> Repair. User's image
    3. I met similar issue before which was caused by anti-virus software. You can check if you have any firewall or anti-virus software installed. If there is, you can uninstall such software and test again.

If the above still can't fix the issue, please provide feedback to Edge team by pressing Alt+Shift+I in Edge.
