Hello,

this is my first question in here i hope my question is readable :D

So yeah when we install new computers for customers we literally ask for their password most of the time they have only for work passwords but still this feels so wrong and unprofessional to do. Ive been giving an option that i reset that password for the moment i install theirs stuff to the computer and configure everything ready for them. Is there any way i could skip this step and use customers active directory accounts with temporary singon key or someting? So i wouldnt need to bother customer anymore with question like this.

Thank you :)

Sincerely,

    Hi @Jere Ahonen

Unfortunatly , if you need to configure user profile on his computer you have to connect using his account.

To avoid sharing user password with you you can reset his password just to let you connect on his computer using his account and when you complete his profile configuration you should ask him to reset his password. You can also force it by checking the option user must change his password on the next logon on his Active directory account.

    Hi, Thameur-BOURBITA

    This is Chaboon.

I seem, a common method is to tell your customer a temporary password that you specifically specify (you can make password generator), and then force the customer to change their password using the "User must change password at next logon" setting.
