I currently have no DNS issues that i know of, but looking through my DNS foward lookup zones i found that the domain controllers listed under _msdcs are from older domain controllers that now do not exist. All of which list as IP Address Unknown. If i select the parent dns folder domain.org it lists all my current production (NS) domain controllers correctly as what im used to seeing in prior domains. My question is, if i go into the properties of _msdcs and add my live DCs and remove the older Unknown DCs, would i break anything? should i just add one at a time? Thanks in advance.
