I just got a new desktop. Every time I try to login in, it attempts but goes back to the email and password screen and says try again. With my laptop I can get in immediately. Same information, same credentials, different results.

Windows 11, like Windows 10, offers the option to use a local account instead of a Microsoft account, but Microsoft encourages users to sign in with Microsoft accounts for enhanced features and synchronization. If you prefer to use a local account, you can create one:

Settings > Accounts > Your Info.

Click on Sign in as a local user instead. Follow the prompt to set up username and password. This will free the MS email to the user profile.

    Hello,

Have you tried resetting your password?

You may also need to check if your desktop is connected to the internet and if there are any updates that need to be installed.

    Best Regards,
