I recently upgraded to windows 11 and have had two issues with my proxy settings.
1: "Automatically detect settings" is turned off and unable to be turned on (If I close settings or click off of proxy settings and re-open it hasn't saved) This same issue also happens with proxy server settings (when I put proxy server info in there and save it doesn't actually save)
2: When I click on "Use setup script" and modify anything at all the settings app will freeze immediately then close and nothing will be saved.

Try check for update and if there are any pending updates try download and install them and restart your PC.
If the problem persists, report it using the Feedback Hub app.
Open the Command prompt as administrator and then type the following command:
sfc /scannow
Press enter and let it runs and see what the result is?
updated my computer and did nothing, wrote sfc/ scannow in cmd and it says "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag."
after writing the command that command prompt told me to do, it brings up some log files that i dont really understand and have nothing to do with other things it talks about
Try open Command prompt as administrator and run the following commands:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
after doing the first command it said that there was no component store corruption detected
Second command said the component store was repairable
Third command said -
The source files could not be found.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log
I do C:\windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log and dont understand what any of what pops up means
