Microsoft Authenticator app can't verify sign in

Question

Hi,

I bought minecraft education a few months ago and after I set up my account I could access my account using email and password and did not need authenticator app. Recently I changed the password for my account and after that when I want to sign in to my account it requests to authenticate from me on the app. At the same time I want to add this account on the app so I can verify, but it asks me to verify the code in the same app which I can not. My account is school/work account. I only have verification code other than approve a request choice which also faces same problem. How I can authenticate my account and access it?

That's the wrong way to enable MFA. You can follow along here to manage MFA on the account.

Sounds like you'll need the work / school admins to reset the account so a new QR code can be generated with which you can scan in and relink the authentication device to your account.
