Network error, cannot connect to local network

i have a laptop fresh out te box, windows 11 business.
When i connect the laptop by cable on my network. I can ping devices on my network, but i cannot open any local network drives.
I get an error
no access to "ip address"
any ideas

Can you elaborate on what devices you are trying to connect to?
Can you open the local network drives on other devices?
Can you share as much detail as possible so I can understand where your issue is?
