Hi experts,

I have turned on LAPS in Azure and enabled Administrator account. Then create the LAPS policy to store admin password in Azure.

But I can't login the device, it shows "Username or password is incorrect". I have double checked the local administrator account and password are correct. Please help!

Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

1,Please try .\administrator as username.

2,Please check the Event log to see if there is any useful information. Windows LAPS logs can be found in the Windows Event Viewer at Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > LAPS.

Windows LAPS troubleshooting guidance

3,Also you can create a new administrator account for LAPS and disable the built-in Administrator account to have a try.

For more information, please refer to:

Thanks for your time. Have a nice day!

Best regards,

Simon
