Quality update notification

Hi,

We have set up an update rings providing 3 days as Quality deferral period and 0 days deadline and 0 days grace period. Users complains that they are getting the restart notification only before 15 minutes.Please advise the changes need to make for getting an early notifications to users to plan accordingly before the mandatory restart. Added Update rings configuration snap for reference.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

In the update ring policy we can't set the amount of time of restart notification to end user. We can use the CSP policy AutoRestartNotificationSchedule to have a try. This policy will specify the amount of time (30,60,120 minutes etc.) prior to a scheduled restart to notify the user. Refer to:
