To edit and co-author a file in a Teams > General > Files area on mobile devices, you need to have the Office mobile apps installed on your iOS or Android device. Then, you can follow these steps:

• Tap on the file you want to edit and co-author. It will open in Teams with the standard Office tools available at the top of the screen.
• Tap on Editing at the top right corner of the screen and choose whether you want to work as an editor or reviewer, or simply view the file.

• Start editing. You can also tap on Share to send the file to others, or tap on More options to open the file in its web app or desktop app.
• If other team members are editing the file too, you will see their changes in real-time and their names or initials next to their cursor.
