Hi there

I need to make a query regarding the configuration of alerts in the SQL databases in Azure.

Within the alert configuration, in the "condition" option, how can I configure it to activate the alert not when it barely reaches the indicated %, but when it remains at that percentage for a few minutes? .

Since many times the databases when they receive the "query" reach that % of CPU indicated, but it immediately drops, in those cases, I would not like to activate the alert, but rather activate it when it remains at that % for a period of time. time.

Thanks!

Hi, @Fernando Gutierrez Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand your concern about activating alerts when the databases reach a certain percentage of CPU usage and then immediately drop.

To configure alerts in Azure SQL databases, you can follow the instructions provided in the Azure documentation https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-sql/database/sql-insights-alerts?view=azuresql

    Regards

    Geetha
