    Hello

Firstly, I would recommend checking if your NAS Synology is visible on your network. You can do this by opening the Command Prompt and typing "ping [NAS IP address]" (without quotes) and pressing Enter. If you receive a response, it means that your computer can communicate with the NAS.

If the NAS is visible on your network, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

    1. Check if the NAS is using the latest firmware version. If not, update it to the latest version.
    2. Check if the NAS is using the latest version of the Synology Assistant software. If not, update it to the latest version.
    3. Check if the NAS is using the latest version of the SMB protocol. If not, update it to the latest version.
    4. Check if the NAS is using the correct network settings. Make sure that the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway are correct.
    5. Check if the NAS is using the correct workgroup or domain name. Make sure that it matches the workgroup or domain name of your Windows 11 computer.
    6. Check if the NAS is using the correct user credentials. Make sure that you have the correct username and password to access the NAS.

    Best Regards,

I'm writing here because I was looking for a solution to this exact same problem. All of my mapped network connections to my NAS were broken after the most recent Windows11 update which also included a .NET Framework update. I deleted all the broken mapped connections and tried to reconnect them. Nothing worked. It seemed like my Windows11 computer didn't see the NAS anymore, but I could connect to the NAS from my browser and inspect its settings. After a half a day of searching for a solution, I accidentally stumbled upon this Windows feature because I finally suspected that the Windows update did something to the network security. Sure enough, this completely fixed the problem for me.
