Publish button not working on excel within the purchase lines.

We have Business Central - Dynamics. There is an option to 'edit in excel', for many reports and function this works, however when we try to do this on the 'purchase lines' export, the publish button is greyed out and we cannot upload our changes. We have switched off approval workflows and retried, however it still does not work. Any help will be massively appreciated as we are currently making changes one by one on many purchase orders.
