how to get list of users and associated group in bulk in Azure

Good day

Can you share me steps to get list of users and associated group for that ids in bulk .
i tried option to export users but that is not listed group details , can you share me the way to get it.

I understand your concern that you are trying to get the list of users with their groups.

To achieve you're ask it is possible to use Windows PowerShell as below.

In your local machine Navigate to Windows PowerShell and Run the PowerShell in ISE as Administrator.

Connect to Entra ID using the command: Connect-AzureAD and sign in with your admin credentials.

Run the following scripts in PowerShell which retrieves a list of all users and their group memberships, and it exports the CSV file into your local machine. The path which is shown in the script is an example, you can change the path according to your requirements.

$users = Get-AzureADUser -All $true $results = @() foreach ($user in $users) { $userGroups = Get-AzureADUserMembership -ObjectId $user.ObjectId $result = [PSCustomObject]@{ UserPrincipalName = $user.UserPrincipalName DisplayName = $user.DisplayName Groups = ($userGroups | ForEach-Object { $_.DisplayName }) -join ', ' } $results += $result } $results | Export-Csv -Path C:\UserGroupMemberships.csv -NoTypeInformation

But unfortunately this is not met the requirement , I want a user and which group that user is part of .. That output is missing . Since user may have more than one group need a list of group in same output , since this ask is common for Extract.

Eg - User id is vithyavathi.karunagaran@kyndryl.onmicrosoft.com

I m part of 'N' number of IAM group , i need the same output for entire listed users too in Powershell / CLI . is there a way to solve in better way .
