Issue with responsive design on D365 marketing emails in Outlook desktop app

I'm having an issue with the responsive design in D365 marketing emails. I have created an element with the "responsive design" field set to show on mobile and do not show on desktop (as shown in the attached image). However, when I do a test send to an Outlook email address, the section still shows up in the desktop app. Can anyone advise on how to fix this issue? Thank you.
