Hello,

I recently updated the BIOS of my motherboard, an MSI PRO Z690-A (DDR4), from version 7D25v1D to 7D25v1E (the latest one) and now I can't activate Windows 11 PRO anymore, due to detected hardware change I suppose! I have an original Windows 8 PRO (retail) copy, including its 64-bit Italian DVD phisical support, and using a regular update from Windows 8 > Windows 10 > Windows 11.

I tried EVERYTHING, including changing product key (re-typing the old one) and deleting all the available devices in my Microsoft account back-office (via web): I still cant solve :(

Request for support 2 times by telephone and after 10 days still no call back from microsoft received :\

Could anyone help me to solve this problem?

    Hello

What is present product key installed?

We could open administrator command line and run “slmgr /dlv” to check present product key.

Since we have activted product before, we may try the activation troubleshoot tool
