Specifying a device name template when enrolling into Intune via Samsung Knox?

Hi there,

I have been testing Android Enterprise enrolment for my organisation through Samsung Knox and I am wanting to understand whether it is possible to specify devices to have a different name when enrolling into Intune. Currently when I enrol devices they have the not very practical "Name_Platform_EnrolmentDate" format. I would prefer something like "Android_Serial". I am aware you can bulk rename devices after enrolment in this format but curious if this could be done during enrolment to eliminate that extra effort.

I know that for Windows Autopilot devices you can specify a name template that the device will use during enrolment, does something like this exist for Android too?

From your description, I know that you want to rename an Android device when enrolling into Intune.

Based on my research, I found that only Windows and IOS support Device Name Template when enrolling into Intune, there are no related settings on Android, but you can bulk rename Android device after enrollment.
