Hello,

we have some performance issues with programs like Zoom and Microsoft Office and want to migrate the appdata\roaming folder from folder redirection back to roaming profiles.

After changing the group policy for folder redirection the appdata got moved as expected with the next login.

Unfortunately a few programs like google Chrome still wants to use the folder redirection path from before and just creates new user files instead of using the new directory.

Are there any registry or other configurations that need to be changed per device or user? Has anyone seen something like this?

We've found the problem. The customer for some reason had two GPOs that both redirect the appdata to the server. One used the GPO for the Folderredirection and the other used the Registry to redirect the folders. After disabling one of them it was fine.
