Recently upgraded to Windows 11 and now the machine cannot access http://192.168.0.1 (my default gateway) but I still have access to the Internet. I am 100% sure the problem is in the machine because there is no problem when I use a smartphone or a different machine (running Linux). I also never had such a problem when was using Windows 10.

What I tried:

  • Update the OS and drivers (everything is up to date)
  • No errors/warnings in Device Manager under Network adapters tab
  • Switching network profile type (private-public) had no effect
  • Disabling Windows Firewall and Windows Security had no effect
  • netsh int ip reset (to be able to run this one and fix the "access denied" error I had to change {eb004a00-9b1a-11d4-9123-0050047759bc}\26 permission to full control to everyone in Registry Editor)
  • ipconfig /flushdns
  • netsh winsock reset
  • Enabled Core Networking Diagnostics - ICMP Echo Request (ICMPv4-In) (Profile: Private, Public) and Core Networking Diagnostics - ICMP Echo Request (ICMPv6-In) (Profile: Private, Public) rules in Windows Firewall
  • Resetting network in the settings

Of course, I rebooted the device a few times. The machine is connected through Wi-Fi and cannot be connect by the cable.
