Keyboard typing by itself

I need some help please. For about 2 months now I've been having problems with the keyboard.

Everything starts out fine, but then randomly it was type one or two letters like the keyboard is stuck.

The problem started with a wireless keyboard, so I switched to wired. When it started again, I thought it was because it was an old keyboard so I bought a new one. When it still happened, I thought it was because the replacement was cheap so I bought another one that was middle of the road on price. It's doing it again. Sometimes if I unplug the keyboard it will stop after a few minutes. Clearly the problem is not with the keyboard.

I've tried switching usb ports but it happens on all of them.

The computer is only a year old.

Thanks

    Hello @Sillylottie

Have you made any configurations, install some software, or update your pc recently?

Please do try these troubleshooting steps:

    1. Run the keyboard troubleshooter under Settings/Update & Security section
Once the troubleshooting process is finished, restart your computer, check if the problem is still there.

    2. Update or Reinstall the keyboard driver from device manager. Note to reboot your computer after uninstall.

3.Check any error messages from event viewer:

From device manager, right-click on keyboard device and select properties.
Then select Event tab above, click on view all events at the bottom.

    Hi Karlie,

    1. When I run the trouble shooter it doesn't find anything.
    2. Uninstalled, restarted computer and plugged keyboard back in-still happens.
    3. I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to find when I do that, but I've done it and nothing really seemed to change. It did it about 6 times yesterday and once so far today.
