Can't send files to external users

Question

When in a chat with an external team member I don't get the option: Attach files.

I can chat, call, share screen everything but not that, where is this setting located?

To share with external users, you will need to use the 'Share' button from the Library or from inside the doc itself, or add them as a guest to the Channel. It's not possible to share files from the chat interface with external users.

This is a known limitation of Microsoft and you cannot share files with external users. If you want to share files with external users, you need to invite the external users into your organization as guest users.
