Excel autosave making excel coding unusable

When autosave is turned on typing VBA macros is unworkable.

I have a good internet connection. I have no delays on other applications. I have a tool that tunes the system so that it runs quickly. Any ideas why the vba is so slow that it is causing issues when typing VBA?

Microsoft 365 and Office | Excel | For business | Windows

    It may be caused by Excel add-ins which run in the background. To test for and eliminate the possibility that an Excel add-in or file is causing this issue, please try open Office in safe mode.
