I attempted to install the SSIS extension on my Visual Studio 2022 instance, but after clicking the "Install" button, nothing happened for a while, and then a screen displaying "Setup failed: user cancelled installation (0x80070642)" appeared. I did not cancel the installation manually.
Is there any advice or workaround for this issue? Do I need an administrator account to install this extension (it should take some time to contact and gain temporary administrator access from Service Desk department), or is there another solution that does not require temporary administrator access (this one is more preferable for me, if possible)?

Please try to install SSIS extension by using administrator account. Some files or directories may be locked.

Yes, (local) admin permissions are required for the installation of any VS extention.
