Product Key Microsoft Office 2021 Professional Plus

Hello,

I put the key code i got with my Microsoft Office 2021 Professional Plus purchase, on the first application (Word 2021) i opened after the installation instead of my Microsoft account. My concern is the following. May i reuse the same code in case of formating my PC and installing the Office again? If not i saw some instruction on chatgtp to link my key code to my microsoft account in order to be able to download it and use it again though my email after formating etc at the same pc. Do you know if the following guideline is accurate?

Remove Activation:

Open any Office application.

Go to "File" > "Account."

Under the "Product Information" section, click on "Change License."

Follow the prompts to remove the existing license.

Restart your computer.

Uninstall Office:

Uninstall Microsoft Office from your computer through the Control Panel or Settings.

Reinstall Office:

Reinstall Microsoft Office on your computer.

Activate through Microsoft Account:

Go to https://setup.office.com/home.

Sign in with the Microsoft account you want to associate with your Office subscription.

Enter the product key when prompted.

Check Account Information:

Ensure that you are signing in with the correct Microsoft account that you want to link to your Office subscription.
