How to disable log Analytics from an Azure Virtual Machine

Hi,
I have a virtual machine with Log Analytics activated. I wanted to migrate to Azure Monitor but every time I activate it, I can see an alert warning about having the Log Analytics and the Azure Monitor activated and informing this could cause an extra costs. Then, after a couple of minutes, I can notice Azure Monitor is not longer activated, having only the Log Analytics:
I have tried to disable the Log Analytics for the virtual machine but I cannot see it in the Extensions (I tried to follow this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1388914/how-to-remove-log-analytics-agent-from-azure-vm-to)
So to summarize, I want to have only the Azure Monitor agent working for my virtual machine.

Not sure why the agent related extension is not visible in the Extensions tile in Azure Portal. You might connect to the VM and check if the agent is running and then uninstall it from there. For more information, refer these 3 troubleshooter guides related to legacy log analytics agent.
