Can I assign Sharepoint Site Permissions Per page?

Hello,

I have a SharePoint site named "Approval Manager".

I have 2 pages on this SharePoint site as follows.

Submit Request (Which is basically an embedded Microsoft form and some FAQs).

Approval list (This is basically an embedded Microsoft list with some administration guideline texts)

I need to restrict access to the general users to the page "Approval List". This page should only be accessed by the managers.

However, I could only assign permissions to the entire SharePoint site in the settings. How can I assign separate permissions to each page? (I don't want general users to be able to view the "Approval list" page).

Hi @Ben Pathirana,

If you are using SharePoint Online, you can refer to the following steps to set permissions for the page:

• Navigate to your page library, select the page you want to set permissions for, right click your mouse and check Manage Access.

• Select Advanced at the end of the pop-up window.

• Click Stop Inheriting Permissions. This will cause the page to stop inheriting permissions from the site and use its own customized permissions.

• If you want a particular user or group to no longer have access to the page, you just need to check them off and remove the user permissions. You can also modify or add user permissions.

If you are using SharePoint Server, you can refer to the following steps to set permissions for the page:

• Navigate to your page library, select the page you want to set permissions for, right click your mouse and check Share > Shared With > ADVANCED.

• What you do next is consistent with SharePoint Online.

Hello, I saw the topic and I'm struggling with it as well as I don't have that option (to stop inheriting permissions). I'm using Sharepoint 365 (online). Here is the case.

I created HR Hub. On it, except for the few sites, I also have some pages, like Policies and Procedures.

It's like this:

HR Hub

• page: Policies & Procedures
• site: Onboarding portal
• site: Pre-Onboarding portal

I need to give people access to the page Policies and Procedures ONLY, so they can't access HR Hub's home page.

When I go to Manage Access/Advanced Settings I get this:
