I'm seeking guidance on programmatically managing (deploying/pushing) patches in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), specifically Software Updates, to various types of devices (Windows, Mac, Mobile, and IoT) using PowerShell. I'm interested in a more streamlined approach to automate these patch deployments across different platforms.

If anyone has experience in programmatically managing patches with SCCM through PowerShell, I would greatly appreciate your guidance and expertise. Please share any stepwise documentation you know of, or if there are alternative methods to achieve this, I'd be interested in exploring those as well.

SCCM cannot manage software update for Mac, Mobile, and IoT, so I'm afraid there is no guidance on programmatically managing patches in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
