Validation State Pending on my Domain

Question

I added a new domain to my front door profile and it says that the validation state is pending. I created a TXT record and I added it to my domain name provided (Squarespace.com). I have done this step three different times and I have waited some time to see if it will validate, but it never does. What am I doing wrong? Or what am I missing?

I understand you have added the DNS TXT record to your DNS provider but the validation state is still pending.

Based on the Domain validation states documentation here

• If the status remains Pending even after the TXT record has been updated with the DNS provider, select Regenerate to refresh the TXT record then add the TXT record to your DNS provider again.
• The default TTL for TXT records is 1 hour. When you need to regenerate the TXT record for re-validation, please pay attention to the TTL for the previous TXT record. If it doesn't expire, the validation will fail until the previous TXT record expires.
• If the Regenerate button doesn't work, delete and recreate the domain.
• If the domain state doesn't reflect as expected, select the Refresh button.

Even after trying the steps above if the validation state is still pending. I think a support request will be required in this case as a support engineer can request the backend team to help validate the domain. If you have a support plan you may file a support ticket, else could you please send an email to azcommunity@microsoft.com with the below details and I will enable a one-time free support request for you in this case.
