I am currently unable to sign into my Microsoft apps on my mobile device including Outlook, Teams, and Sharepoint as I cannot get through Microsoft Authenticator.

I recently replaced my mobile device due to a broken screen ad I am now unable to sign into my apps on new mobile device (apple device).

  • When I click the Authenticator app, it reads "Authenticator Locked", then I click "Unlock" with the four-digit passcode. It then brings me to a screen with "Microsoft Entra ID" at the top and "Begin Backup" at the bottom. Clicking the ID option at the top brings me to a screen that says "Connected Account" (can't click this) and "Set up 2-step verification". When I click the verification option it brings up a screen asking for a QR code or a manually entered code, but the company does not have this code available.
  • When I try to sign into my Microsoft 365 account or any of the apps using my business log in, it brings me to a screen on my mobile device that shows a 2 digit number with the instructions to "Approve Sign In Request" and the 2 digit number in a black box that it instructs me to enter into the Authenticator app. However, this page is displayed in the Authenticator app so I cannot enter it into the app.
