I was able to login to a laptop 2 months ago with just my Microsoft account login info so it makes no sense why this is an issue now.

I got a new laptop and I attempted to sign in with my Microsoft account. All my info was correct and it brought me to a page that said I needed my current windows password which I don’t have. This is a new laptop so there is no password whatsoever and I’ve never had one. I read something on Google that said this issue could be fixed if I went to windows settings and added a password so that’s exactly what I did. My windows now has a password which I use to sign in to my laptop.

I assumed my troubles would be over and I attempted to sign into my Microsoft account. I entered all my into including my new windows password. But it keeps saying “Oops, something went wrong. Whatever happened, it was probably our fault. Please try again.” It’s done this 20 times now. I’ve restarted and turned off my computer and nothing works. My wifi is on and is working as well. I really need help urgently!!
