Good morning,

My access paths are as follows: Document > HR > Boutique

I need all my stores to have access to the HR folder but that Boutique X has access to its sub-folder, without the possibility of looking at Boutique Y.

How can I do ?

Microsoft 365 and Office | SharePoint | For business | Windows

    Hi @Ana0710,

Thank you for posting in this community.

I created this structure based on your question: Document > HR > BoutiqueX and BoutiqueY.

My understanding is that you want certain users to be able to access the BoutiqueX but not the BoutiqueY folder, and likewise certain users to only be able to access the BoutiqueY folder. Please correct me if I've misunderstood.

We can do this by setting separate permissions for folders.

1.Select the folder BoutiqueX, right click your mouse and check Manage Access.

2.Click on Advanced Settings at the top.

3.Click the Stop Inheriting Permissions button.

4.Assign permissions to your users or groups. For users or groups that don't have access, you can simply remove them. For users or groups that have access, you can add or modify their permissions.

5.For the BoutiqueY folder, you can do the same.

    Here is my test result:

A user who only has access to BoutiqueX can only see the folder BoutiqueX under the HR folder.
