How to create/update/delete events without accessing calendar event information on Outlook API call

Is it possible to create/update/delete events from users' Outlook calendar without being able to access their existing calendar events? I'm currently working on a software project that requires this for privacy and security purposes. I've reviewed the API permissions and online resources, but I can't seem to find a solution to this problem.

Is there a way to achieve this? Thank you.
