Hello,

We want to send a client push failure alert in MECM. Lately, there have been a lot of client push failures. Even if we have addressed the cause, it still begs the question of how to raise a alert for this issue. Is there a way to warn from the MECM.

There should be a status message that tell you when ConfigMgr Push stops trying to push to the devices and therefore you can set an alert on that. But that will happen after 7 days.

Also if you setup a Fallbackstatus point, if the ConfigMgr push fails on the client side, it will return a message, again you should be able to setup an alert on that to.

This is all in theory, I have not tested either option.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that there is no such warning/notification. In SCCM, when we discovery the devices and do client push, the client push installation will try several times even if it fails. We can check the BGB status in the console. For all those devices that client is not installed, we can push again after we have addressed the cause.

    Regards,
