Microsoft account automatically signing in on a browser when I want to sign in with a different account, how can i stop this? Signing out doesn't work.

I'm trying to sign into a school website with my school microsoft account, but this is on my personal account and it is automatically signing in. Before, I was able to click cancel on the window that says "trying to sign you in) but that cancel thing has now disappeared and I'm forced to sign in with a personal account, which takes me to the website's error page. There is an option to sign out on that error page, but that doesn't do anything. There aren't many tags I could find that relate to my problem so I'm using the windows 11 tag as this error is occuring on a windows 11-running laptop (lenovo yoga 82bh). I looked through the similar questions thing and there are a couple other people with the same issue, but none of the solutions for that work.

As a work-around you could also try from an in-private session.

Then you could try adding another profile.

I ended up fixing it, not sure what happened but at one point it gave me the option to sign in with either my school or personal account and I chose personal, so the issue is fixed for now.
