Why am i not receiving my verification code for signing in?

I am trying to log into my Microsoft account on my pc. When it prompts me to check my email for a security code that is "sent" to me I receive no emails, neither in my junk or my "all mail". I know that I am using the correct email.

It might have been a temporary issue.

Try again and see if the problem persists.

If possible try other way to recover the password (if you already setup another ways).

Have you checked your network connection? Can you see the verification code if you relog your email?
