New cpu problems

I have recently bought a ryzen 7 5800x to put in my computer and when I turn it on it doesn't detect my keyboard or mouse. I have made sure that it is compatible with my motherboard and it is. I am out of ideas. This also happened before when I upgraded my graphics card and I forgot how I fixed it.
