Is the Windows lock screen secure against external intrusion - USB, etc.?

Hello,

I have a laptop with Windows 11 that is fully encrypted with VeraCrypt.

Can any device copy the data on the laptop via USB with the system running and the lock screen on or is that (hopefully) impossible?

The Firewire port is disabled.
