Unable to use azure open AI studio with a private endpoint to open AI service and a public access to my IP for cognitive search

I am trying to use the azure open AI studio functionality to upload my data in pdf form to query. However when I try to configure, it is not able to fetch information of my cognitive search resource. Please see the screenshot below.

The azure open AI service has been allowed access from private endpoint only which is on the same subnet as mine.

Whereas the cognitive search resource is public for selected networks and my ip is whitelisted

I have contibutor acess to both but still getting the below error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
