Could Microsoft please allow users to resize the Teams window to something smaller than the current minimum, similar to what Zoom allows its users to do?

Can someone at Microsoft PLEASE allow users to reduce / resize Teams windows beyond the minimum size that Microsoft currently dictates. When I attend small-to-mid size group MS Teams meetings on my laptop and try to multitask by also working on something else (e.g. spreadsheeting), I'm extremely frustrated by Microsoft's minimum window size for Teams. That minimum window size is FAR larger than necessary and when I'm working exclusively on my laptop (i.e. with no 2nd monitor option), for example, the minimum size for the Teams meeting window takes up nearly half of my laptop screen! Seriously!??!

Zoom figured this out years ago and allows users to resize the meeting participants window to any shape or size, including allowing me to resize all meeting participants to a nice thin little strip along the top of my screen where it not only doesn't get in the way (allowing me to easily multitask), but that location is also where my laptop camera is which enhances the meeting experience as I'm actually looking at participants when I speak to them.

When I can use a 2nd monitor, this is less of a issue, but on behalf of those of us stuck working from tiny work laptops (and also for those of us who are not allowed to use Zoom for work), PLEASE Microsoft, fix the Teams minimum window size!!!

And while I'm here asking about a feature request, please also consider adding an Always On Top option (again, similar to what Zoom allows) - I realize PowerToys gives me this option but it would be nice if this was native to the product.

    Hi @Doug Blakeney

Welcome to Q&A forum and thanks for your feedback!

I did a test in our environment and the situation is the same as yours. This feature can help users improve the meeting quality when users join Teams meeting. I checked some ways but it seems there is no direct ways to reseize the windows and it look like set by design.

To get this feature more quickly, I have found a feedback in Teams UserVoice and you could vote for it. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future. Thanks for your understanding and support.
