Edge forcing HTTPS connections

What k a game is Microsoft playing now. Had a window update yesterday and now when I try to go to a site it forces HTTPS which the site doesn't except. Now am locked out of sites I enjoy.

    Modern browsers usually encourage websites to use HTTPS because it provides a more secure connection and data transmission. If a website does not use HTTPS, the browser may display a warning or block the connection to alert users to the security risks.

    If Edge blocks the connection, you can try using another browser to access those pages.
