Teams check and update option disappeared. Where can I get it? How to check update?

Based on your description, there are a few possible reasons and solutions that you can try:

• Select the ellipsis (…) next to your profile picture, and then click About > Version to see your current Teams version. If you see that your version is outdated, you can try to force Teams to check and install updates.
• If you have a volume license install or your company is using Group Policy to manage Office updates, you may not see the Check for updates option.
• Alternatively, you can access Teams through the web client on the official Microsoft website. The web app is always up to date and has the same features as the desktop app.
• Make sure you have installed Teams in the default location: userAppdata. This will ensure that Teams can automatically update itself without any problems.
