.NET version missing error message

I get a message that one of my PC applications needs .NET 4.0.30319.

try to download that version, but it errors out saying that PC has a later version installed.

not sure why i'm getting the message as nothing new (apps) have been installed. something has changed i guess but im not sure what ...

Hi @Susan Kenward ,

What is your OS version? Try installing the latest system updates.

Or try installing the .NET Framework 4.8 Runtime manually.

    Spoke eventually to ms support. They have reloaded the whole OS to solve the issue as the outstand8ng update just would not process.

    still checking if it has solved the issue….
