introduced a new domain and plan to transition to it as their primary domain

Question

We've introduced a new domain and plan to transition to it as their primary domain. When we make this switch, will we need to migrate user data from the old email address to the new one, or will just logging in under the new primary domain suffice? and to login in computer will user need to use old email to login in computer or the new email?
