Hi everyone. I had created a compute instance for my Azure Machine learning service about few months ago. Now once I wanted to use it, it gives error indicating the instance is deprecated. once I want to create new GPU instance it says I don't have enough quota for that. how come that I used to have enough quota but now I don't have any? Normally quotas used for deprecated instance must be returned.

Also how can I request to increase quotas to deploy a GPU instance? in quota request page, all quotas for vistual machines are for vCPUs.

Hi @Mohammad Boroushaki

Please find below steps which will helps to increase quotas in VMs for vCPUs

Total compute limit per region has a default limit of 500 per region within a given subscription and can be increased up to a maximum value of 2500 per region.

In order to increase the total compute limit, open an online customer support request. Provide the following information:

  1. When opening the support request, select Technical as the Issue type.
  2. Select the subscription of your choice
  3. Select Machine Learning as the Service.
  4. Select the resource of your choice
  5. In the summary, mention "Increase total compute limits"
  6. Select Compute Cluster as the Problem type and Cluster does not scale up or is stuck in resizing as the Problem subtype.
  7. On the Additional details tab, provide the subscription ID, region, new limit (between 500 and 2500) and business justification if you would like to increase the total compute limits in this region.
  8. Finally, select Create to create a support request ticket.

For more detailed information its available in the Microsoft docs for your reference about these areas.

    Hi Muhammad

To request a quota increase for GPU instances or any other resource, you need to submit a support request through the Azure portal

Go to the Azure portal - https://portal.azure.com.

If this helps kindly accept the answer thanks much.
