Can someone please provide information on the M365 Roadmap regarding the release date of Microsoft Loop App out of preview? Also, when we enable it during the current preview phase for a test group of users, will they still have access to the data after preview?

The Microsoft Loop app, a platform for collaborative work, was announced on November 2, 2021, with a preview of the dedicated Loop application becoming available in the first half of 2022. It was expected to launch in the summer of 2022, with its components becoming accessible across all Microsoft Office applications https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Loop#:~:text=Microsoft%20Loop%20is%20an%20online,the%20first%20half%20of%202022. However, as of March 22, 2023, the Loop app entered its public preview phase, marking the commencement of user interaction with the app on a broader scale. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2023/03/22/new-microsoft-loop-app-is-built-for-modern-co-creation/#:~:text=March%2022%2C%202023%20Microsoft%20365,is%20available%20in%20public%20preview

For the preview phase, the Loop app is opt-in, meaning it’s not automatically available to all users. IT administrators need to follow certain steps to enable access for their organization or specific groups within their organization. The process involves possibly creating a new Microsoft 365 group for the users intended to have access, signing into the Microsoft 365 Apps admin center, and creating a Cloud Policy configuration to enable the Loop app. The policy propagation might take an hour or so, after which users can log in to Loop and start using it

Regarding the data access post-preview, Microsoft has outlined a grace period that ends in early 2024. During this period, all users will continue to have access to the Loop app features based on their Microsoft 365 plan. Importantly, users will retain access to their existing pages and workspaces, and will also be able to view components from other apps among other functionalities, ensuring that the data and collaborative efforts are preserved beyond the preview phase. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/loop-access-via-microsoft-365-subscriptions-92915461-4b14-49a4-9cd4-d1c259292afa#:~:text=This%20grace%20period%20will%20end,from%20other%20apps%2C%20and%20more
